Barista

Monthly Salary: UP to $2800 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Tanah Merah

Working Hours: 5 or 6 Days Work Week | 44 Hours per Week

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner, provide beverage menus, and answer questions about menu items and ingredients.

• Serve food items such as pastries, cookies, and muffins while ensuring proper presentation and quality standards.

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea, according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.

• Accurately process customer orders and accommodate preferences relating to beverage customisation where applicable.

• Process cashless and cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service and preparation areas, ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and in good working condition.

• Report maintenance issues when required.

• Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies such as cups, plates, and other service items as needed.

• Share customer feedback with management and contribute suggestions to support service and menu improvements.
  

Qualification and Requirements:

• Prior experience in a Barista or similar food and beverage service role is an advantage.

• Experience operating coffee brewing equipment is preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions.

• Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required

• Relevant food and beverage training or certification is an added advantage.
