Assistant Maintenance Manager

Our esteemed client in the Engineering industry is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Assistant Maintenance Manager
• Location: Islandwide (HQ is in Mandai)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days, office hours
• Salary Package: Up to $4,200 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all motorized access equipment and hoists across active construction sites.
• Ensure all machinery meets MOM, BCA, and WSH standards; coordinate with Professional Engineers (PE) and Authorized Examiners (AE) for mandatory equipment testing and certifications.
• Lead rapid troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults on-site to minimize equipment downtime for clients.
• Manage and deploy a team of technicians, electricians, and site mechanics while enforcing strict safety protocols.
• Manage spare parts inventory, monitor maintenance expenditures, and maintain accurate equipment logs.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of engineering maintenance experience in the Singapore construction or heavy lifting/ equipment rental industry.
• Direct experience with Gondolas, MCWPs, PM Hoists, gearboxes, and electrical control panels is highly preferred.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license would be a plus.
