Claims Executive (Accounting) Contracts for 6 mths

We are seeking a Claims Executive with a strong accounting background to manage the end-to-end financial reconciliation and claims processes for a growing private healthcare group.
This role focuses on financial accuracy, claims reconciliation, and compliance with MOH and CPF Medisave regulations, supporting both clinic operations and group finance functions. You will work closely with Finance, Operations, and external institutions to ensure that all claims are submitted, tracked, and accounted for correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Accounting & Reconciliation
Prepare, verify, and submit claims to MediSave under the CPF Board framework
• Submit inpatient and outpatient claims to insurance companies and third party administrators
• Ensure claims are supported with complete and accurate documentation including medical reports, invoices, and supporting forms
• Track claim status and follow up with insurers or administrators for approvals, clarifications, or additional information
Patient and Stakeholder Coordination
• Assist patients with claim related queries and required documentation
• Liaise with doctors, clinic staff, and billing teams to ensure claim completeness
• Communicate with insurance companies and administrators to resolve discrepancies or rejections
Billing and Reconciliation
• Match approved claims against patient bills and ensure proper settlement
• Highlight shortfalls, non payable items, or exclusions to finance and operations teams
• Assist in month end reconciliation of claims receivable accounts
Compliance and Accuracy
• Ensure all submissions comply with MediSave rules and insurance policy
Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (e.g. Business Administration with accounting modules).
• Familiarity with MediClaim portal and CPF Medisave guidelines is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (e.g. reconciliations, revenue recognition, accruals).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations) and MS OfficeSuite.
• Experience with accounting or finance systems (e.g. NetSuite, PLATO and SCMS) is advantageous.
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work with large volumes of financial data accurately.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal Finance teams, clinic operations, and external institutions.
• Singapore Citizens preferred due to regulatory handling of MediSave claims.
