DISTRIBUTION PLANNER
About this job
This role is in charge of distribution of Leathergoods and Accessories products to South Asia countries in the zone, analyzes new product collections’ performance and initiate prompt action plans to optimize the stocks in the network in a timely manner to achieve the highest sell-through results. We also foresee this role influencing future buying patterns into a better direction for merch and sales planning based on learnings from past launches.
Distribution
- Distribute new products, taking into account stock availability and launch strategy in collaboration with merchandisers; define/manage with merchandisers the Top priority stores to maximize launch impact and transversality across product categories
- Coordinate with central team and merchandisers in case of stock tension to adapt the launching scenario on new products
- Suggest changes in product offer if needed
Communication
- Provide stock status and visibility on the distribution plan for key launches to all stakeholders
- Share performance reports on seasonal (sell-through) highlighting best/worst performers
- Share update on rebalancing process and take note of ST improvement over time
- Take note on recurring patterns and learnings from each launch to apply to the future
Client Orders
- Define most appropriatepre-ordering conditions for new products and Show Collection
- Work with Central tosupport client’s orders and follow up on the delivery
- Work with ZoneMerchandisers to coordinate for events needs and the organization of network
- Coordinate rebalancingand transfers of products within the network
Forecasting
- Monitoring sales performance of new products versus Initial Forecast and make recommendations on future launch forecast patterns/ lifespan or network
- Involvement in showroom process for buying of new products
Systems
- Ensure most optimized setup in our distribution and ordering systems to allow correction behavior in managing pre-ordering and launch setup
- Ownership& maintenance of Power BI reports for transversal collections
Requirements
- Graduate preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline
- Prior experience in Supply Chain and Distribution
- MS Excel proficiency is mandatory
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Quantitative analytical skills and computer savvy; Reliability in data analysis
- Power BI knowledge, Programming skills (VBA, SQL),SAP experience, AI Knowledge a plus
- Ability to remain focused and work efficiently under pressure, capacity to manage multiple requests efficiently
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and being accountable
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills; Able to work across functional areas / levels of the organization and to interact at distance
