Role & Responsibilities
Volunteer Management
· Strategise and grow the poolof volunteers to support the various programmes in the nursinghome
· Identify potentialvolunteer sources and handle volunteer enquiries
· Oversee the full volunteerlife cycle ranging from recruitment, screening/interview, matching,orientation, deployment, review/feedback, appreciationinitiatives, training and exit
· Manage the Salesforcevolunteer database
· Oversee the volunteer-ledactivities in the Home from planning to execution
· Coordinate with CS VolunteerManagement team to implement initiatives
Donations In-kind / Donor Management
· Strategise and developopportunities to meet the needs of the nursing home
· Identify potential donorsources and handle donor enquiries
· Manage walk-ins /calls, DIKand sponsorship requests
Programmes
· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in the implementationof programmes for residents
· Coordinate activities/events for elderly residents, provide supportduring the activities/events and follow up on issues arising from theactivities/events
Communications and Events
· Assist withmedia-related queries and requests
· Provide support in theplanning and organizing of ad-hoc events for residents and stakeholders
· Liaise with CS Communicationsteam to implement initiatives at the nursing home
Administrative and Other work
· Assist withpreparation of monthly reports and related admin work
· Undertake anyother duties assigned by HOD, C&P or Head of Nursing Homes
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
· Bachelor’sdegree with minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social sector orequivalent relevant experience preferred
· Able to work with the elderly in a Nursing Home setting
· Good writing andpresentation skills
· Experienced inactivity planning and programme coordination
· Enjoy interactingwith the elderly
· Possess criticalthinking, strategic planning and effective time management skills
· Attention todetail, ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Ability to speakdialects would be an advantage
· Familiar with social media
· Possess goodleadership, organizational and communication skills
· Able to work effectively in a team environment
· Proficientin basic computer skills, MS Office
· Comfortableengaging and working collaboratively with churches to build meaningfulpartnerships and support organisational initiatives.
· Is independentand resourceful, with a strong understanding of organisational developmentneeds.
· Meticulous,well-organised, and an effective communicator.
· Skilled instakeholder management and thrives as a collaborative team player.
