Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Executive to support the full spectrum of accounting functions across multiple entities, including active and dormant companies.

The successful candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, good technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts for multiple entities, including active and dormant companies.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports accurately and on a timely basis.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations, including loan arrangements between related entities.
• Support accounting system implementation and data migration activities, including ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and other external stakeholders.
• Support tax-related matters and preparation of relevant accounting schedules and documentation.
• Assist with process improvements, internal controls and system enhancement initiatives.
• Support ad-hoc finance and accounting projects as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant professional accounting qualifications or those pursuing professional accounting qualifications are welcome to apply.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience or good working knowledge in full sets of accounts, including AP, AR and GL.
• Good understanding of month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Exposure to tax filings and audit-related matters will be advantageous.
• Experience handling accounts for multiple entities will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with intercompany accounting and reconciliations is preferred.
• Experience with accounting systems such as Xero and/or NetSuite will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking external stakeholders.
