Junior Engineer – Level 2 | Advanced Infrastructure & Systems Support

Already have solid IT support experience and want to move into deeper infrastructure & systems troubleshooting?

This L2 role is for engineers who enjoy solving the harder tickets that go beyond basic helpdesk support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Take ownership of complex tickets escalated from L1
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory & Group Policy
• Support DNS, DHCP, file/print services
• Administer Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace as assigned
• Support firewall & VPN configuration
• Perform server patching and maintenance
• Troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues
• Support VMware / Hyper-V environments
• Perform backup & restore operations
• Triage basic EDR / security alerts
• Support Azure / AWS environments where required
• Prepare RCA, technical reports & handover documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and application support teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent
• 3–6 years IT / infrastructure / systems support experience
• Good knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory
• Understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN & firewall concepts
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and follow change-control procedures

Nice to have: Azure Fundamentals, Network+, Security+, ITIL or PowerShell/Bash scripting experience.
