Postdoctoral Researcher/Fellow (Chemistry)

School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is an interdisciplinary joint school under College of Engineering and College of Science at NTU Singapore

The Nicewicz group at CCEB is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Researcher/Fellow to facilitate research in the development of novel and broadly useful sustainable molecular transformations for the synthesis of complex molecules using single electron redox processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily experiments and analysis of the collected data

• To supervise junior graduate students and undergraduate researchers

• To submit weekly reports on the experimental results

• Prepare manuscript(s) as a result of the research

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree and Conferring PhD student in Chemistry or related field

• At least 5 years of relevant experiences in organic chemistry / technical hands-on experience in reaction development

• Good written and oral communication skills Competent in management of projects/teams of students and presentation of data.

• Interpersonal skills: ability to work independently, to lead teams, develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and excellent organizational/time management skills
