Regional Site Purchasing Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement execution at the plant level to ensure uninterrupted material supply and support efficient manufacturing operations
• Manage complex supply challenges, including material shortages, supplier constraints, inventory risks, and production disruptions through effective escalation and problem-solving.
• Partner closely with Planning, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Procurement teams to align purchasing activities with production schedules and customer commitments.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify emerging supply risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain supply continuity and operational stability.
• Promote standard purchasing practices, governance frameworks, and escalation processes while ensuring compliance with enterprise procurement policies.
• Analyse procurement KPIs, identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, inventory health, fulfilment accuracy, and drive process optimisation through automation and digital initiatives.
• Act as the key procurement advisor to site stakeholders, providing guidance on purchasing processes, risk management, and operational best practices to enhance overall supply chain performance.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience managing complex procurement execution, supply continuity, supplier performance, and exception management challenges
