Product Manager (Genomics)

Job Summary

Support and implement commercial strategies for Research Instruments by expanding accounts, developing new markets, and driving revenue growth through effective stakeholder engagement and sales execution in genomics products.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute Research Instruments’ commercial strategy to expand existing accounts and create new markets, driving company revenue growth
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders to engage them with diverse Genomics product offerings
• Develop rapport with direct accounts and assess their funding situations to tailor sales approaches
• Collaborate with suppliers and account managers to develop and implement sales strategies for long read sequencing, single cell, and spatial genomics products
• Monitor and analyze current industry trends and competitive information to inform sales tactics
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure comprehensive sales support and customer satisfaction
• Manage job responsibilities independently with timeliness and proactive problem-solving

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences with 3-5 years of experience in Genomics sales
• Knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies, with experience in single cell and/or spatial genomics considered an advantage
• Strong interest in Genomics and multiomics technologies, motivated to contribute to a commercial sales and marketing team
• Ability to assist customers in overcoming challenges by proposing optimal product-based solutions
