Title: Equipment Test Technician

Job Responsibility

• Perform equipment testing, inspection, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment meets required performance and quality standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings for equipment testing and fault diagnosis.
• Conduct electrical testing using measuring instruments, including voltage, continuity, resistance, and related checks.
• Perform equipment assembly, mechanical/electrical assembly, installation, and testing according to work instructions and specifications.
• Diagnose equipment faults and perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine equipment checks to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Record and document testing results, fault findings, troubleshooting activities, and equipment status accurately.
• Work closely with Engineering and other relevant teams to support equipment qualification, testing, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.

Job Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in equipment testing, machine/equipment assembly, electrical assembly, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
• Able to work in a cleanroom environment and comply with SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
