CATERING ASSISTANT

Catering Assistants help with all activities related to event catering. Their duties and responsibilities can include assisting with basic food preparation activities, including washing, peeling and cutting vegetables. Cleaning and sanitizing all tableware and chafing dishes before catering events, setting dining tables and ensuring that guests have a quality dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Clean the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors; washing work tables, cutting blocks and boards, refrigerators, walls and any other surfaces; separating recyclables from garbage, then remove all this waste material and cleaning the kitchen garbage cans at least once dail
• Wash, clean & make dry the dishes, utensils, pots, pans, chopping boards, kitchen equipment et
• Assist the cook; wash, peel and slice vegetables and fruit; measure and assemble ingredients for frequent orders and pack take-out orders
• Followed all food safety & hygiene guidelines and standards.
• Assist the cook to prepare necessary ingredients
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

• Willing to work from 4.30pm to 10.00pm
• Able to work independently and support other team members proactively
