Job Summary

Join Café Lodge’s passionate F&B team to deliver exceptional dining experiences by preparing service areas, welcoming guests, taking accurate orders, and attending to guest needs in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Check station supplies daily to ensure adequate inventory for smooth service
• Prepare and maintain the F&B service environment for optimal guest experience
• Inspect function rooms before opening to confirm readiness for business
• Welcome guests warmly and guide them to available tables
• Take guest orders accurately and confirm details to prevent errors
• Assist guests by placing napkins on laps before serving meals
• Monitor order progress to ensure timely and complete service
• Clear dishes after each course with guest permission to maintain cleanliness
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests throughout service
• Verify bills for accuracy before presenting to guests and clearly communicate charges
• Confirm change amounts with cashier before returning to guests
• Express gratitude to guests as they leave to enhance customer satisfaction
• Support service at other stations or locations as needed
• Perform additional duties assigned by management to support operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum N level; NITEC in Food & Beverage Operations preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Good communication skills demonstrated by clear, polite interaction with guests and team
• Friendly personality with a genuine interest in meeting and serving people
• Open to Permanent, Part-time, or Contract employment
• Students welcome for Part-time or Temporary roles (minimum 3 months)
