About this job

We are looking for a hands-on and organised Supply Chain Executive to support our procurement, inventory and logistics operations. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal departments and customers to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials, parts and services.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement& Supplier Management

  • Analysis, plan, coordinate, determine and arrange materials requirements to support operations.
  • Manage the purchasing of materials, components, consumables and services based on production requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Warehouse, Sales and Engineering on production and order requirements.
  • Issue Purchase Orders, monitor delivery and quality of purchases while maintaining transparency to operations.
  • Manage and handle turn backs of materials including invoice discrepancies.
  • Review customer forecasts and order requirements to support production and material planning.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations and negotiate pricing where required.
  • Maintain good supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery and service.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient materials, components and consumables are available to support production requirements.
  • Review stock levels and movements and take appropriate action to prevent material shortages or excess stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing and supply chain records.

Reporting& Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare and analyse planning, inventory and supply chain reports.
  • Provide recommendations to improve planning efficiency, inventory control and supplier performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to planning and supply chain processes.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.


Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Procurement or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing, precision engineering or MRO environment.
  • Good understanding of purchasing and supplier management processes.
  • Good analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP systems will be an advantage.
