Assistant Engineer, MRO

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer to support our aerospace MRO operations and production activities. The role will work closely with the Assistant Manager, Production and Engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of production and MRO activities.

• Support production planning and monitor job progress to meet required TAT.

• Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams on operational matters.

• Assist in resolving production, technical and process-related issues.

• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

• Monitor and maintain production KPIs and prepare reports for management.

• Assist with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.

• Support tooling, equipment, consumable and raw material control.

• Assist with machine maintenance and verification.

• Support warranty activities and customer queries relating to job status and technical matters.

• Ensure compliance with company, quality, safety and aerospace regulatory requirements.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering or related discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience in aerospace, MRO or manufacturing environment preferred.

• Fresh graduates with relevant experience may be considered.

• Basic knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace MRO requirements.

• Able to read engineering drawings and technical documents.

• Knowledge of CMM, GD&T and Part 145requirements will be an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.

• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Hands-on, organised and willing to learn.
