Business Development Manager (BDM - Offshore Services)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the shipping, maritime and offshore sectors.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and client engagement to negotiation and contract closure.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, operators, and key industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with regional and global business objectives.
• Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and technical teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion.
• Represent the organization at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments (engineering, services, projects and operations) to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and reports for senior management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the shipping, marine, offshore industry.
• Strong understanding of vessel operations, ship management, project management, vessel construction, repairs, ship agency or related technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and deliver results in a competitive market.
• Strong network and relationship-building skills with key industry stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
• Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry engagements.
• Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Possess a positive mindset, attitude in joining a young start up division to drive real growth and progress.
