About this job
Job Description
· Identify and pursue strategic business development opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and market expansion initiatives that support the institution’s growth objectives.
· Develop and implement marketing strategies and communication plans to strengthen brand awareness, student recruitment, partner engagement, and institutional visibility within relevant markets.
· Source, evaluate, recruit, interview, and onboard new business partners, agents, franchisees, or institutional collaborators in line with the institution’s standards and strategic priorities.
· Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure business partners and franchisees receive timely operational, academic, marketing, and administrative support.
· Lead, supervise, and develop team members, including setting work priorities, defining individual and team KPIs, delegating tasks, monitoring performance against agreed targets, providing coaching, and ensuring effective collaboration to achieve business development objectives.
· Monitor outlet, partner, or programme performance, including enrolment trends, revenue growth, cost control, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
· Prepare business reviews, income audit summaries, market analysis, and performance reports for management and board presentation.
Job Requirement
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Management, Chinese Studies, or a related discipline.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership management, education services, franchise development, or institutional growth.
· Strong understanding of business operations, cost control, contract management, and commercial negotiation.
· Excellent business acumen, analytical thinking, and ability to interpret financial, operational, and market data to support decision-making.
· Highly organised, meticulous, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, partners, and deadlines independently.
· Possess a proactive, positive, and solutions-driven working attitude, with strong initiative, integrity, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset.
· Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging senior management, business partners, parents, and community stakeholders.
· Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese, including spoken and written Chinese, to support communication with Chinese-speaking customers.
· Prior experience in the education, enrichment, training, or Chinese cultural institution sector will be an added advantage.
· Able to work on weekends and outside standard office hours when required to support events, partner meetings, recruitment activities, and institutional programmes.
