Senior / Staff Nurse (1 year contract)

Job Description

As a Senior / Staff Nurse on secondment to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), you will play a vital role in emergency medical dispatch operations at the SCDF Operations Centre. Your responsibilities include providing timely and appropriate life-saving advice during emergency calls, such as telephone-assisted CPR, as well as preparing and conducting medical awareness training for non-medical dispatchers. You will support quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts through the auditing of call audiotapes and the collection of call data, contribute to the review and enhancement of medical dispatch protocols, and participate in research initiatives related to emergency medical dispatch. You will also provide secondary operational support in handling emergency calls under a 12-hour rotating shift system.

Job requirement

• Degree or Diploma qualification in Nursing recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board

• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board

• Have a valid Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
