Mechanical Assembly Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical modules and components for automation equipment and machinery accurately to meet production standards
• Prepare cables, assemble control boxes, and perform electrical wiring and routing to ensure proper system functionality
• Align machines, conduct input/output (I/O) checks, perform testing, and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to guide assembly and wiring tasks
• Apply fastening, locating, and drilling skills to assemble mechanical parts securely
• Perform wire stripping, labeling, soldering, and crimping to support electrical wiring tasks (preferred skill)
• Travel overseas as required to support assignments and projects

Requirement

• Possess a Professional Certificate, ITE certification, or equivalent qualification
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings

• Basic electrical skills including wire stripping, labeling, soldering, and crimping

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies
