About this job
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to clarify design concepts and requirements for automation projects
- Develop concept designs, detailed designs, bills of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and conduct design cost analyses
- Assist in equipment setup, perform troubleshooting, and provide technical support to customers
- Prepare comprehensive machine operation manuals and related documentation
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing factory automation systems including pick and place, conveyor, pneumatics, servo actuators, and sensors
- Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
- Mechanical engineering education at NITEC, Diploma, Degree level or higher
