Working hours: Mon - Fri, 9am to 6pm

Contract: 6 months - renewable/convertible

Salary: Between $3000 - $3500 (Depending on experience) + 0.5 month completion bonus

We are looking for a Claims Recovery Specialist to join our client's team in Raffles Place. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer engagement, problem-solving, negotiation and working towards clear financial targets.

You will play an important role in helping the company recover eligible claims by engaging policyholders, gathering information and coordinating with relevant third parties.

The Job

  • Manage and follow up on claims recovery cases, ensuring recovery targets are achieved.

  • Contact policyholders regularly to gather the necessary information and support them through the third-party claim process.

  • Communicate confidently with policyholders and financial representatives to explain, persuade and encourage participation in the recovery process.

  • Handle both inbound and outbound calls professionally while following established SOPs and service standards.

  • Investigate and coordinate recovery cases with relevant parties to achieve successful outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate records of calls, case progress and recovery outcomes.

  • Identify potential operational, regulatory and compliance risks and take appropriate action.

  • Stay updated on relevant insurance, regulatory and industry developments to support effective risk management.

  • Highlight potential concerns and share ideas or best practices to improve processes.

  • Support other projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree; insurance qualifications are an advantage.

  • At least 1 year of experience in insurance claims, claims recovery, customer service, collections, telesales or a related field.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational and time-management abilities.

  • A confident and proactive personality with a self-driven and target-oriented mindset.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of life insurance policies, regulations, claims or subrogation will be an added advantage.
