PROJECT MANAGEMENT LEADER - Retail Shop fitting

YOUR ROLE
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for managing projects from project award, costing and planning through production, delivery, installation and final handover.
You will work closely with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers, contractors and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time and within budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage retail shopfitting projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, designers, production teams, suppliers and contractors.
- Review project drawings, specifications, quotations and timelines.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, budgets and resources.
- Coordinate production and fabrication with factories and suppliers.
- Manage site installation, including coordination of contractors and site teams.
- Conduct site visits and attend client / project meetings when required.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage project variations, costs, purchase orders and final accounts.
- Ensure quality, workmanship and project requirements are met.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates to management.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure projects are executed according to approved designs.
- Guide and support junior Project Managers / Project Executives where required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail shopfitting, interior fit-out, commercial interiors or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of shopfitting, fabrication, fixtures and site installation.
- Proven experience managing projects from design coordination through production and installation.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
- Confident in dealing with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Able to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Proactive, responsible and able to work independently.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Willing to travel and attend site works when required.
