Clinic Assistant

This is a clinic support role encompassing front desk operations, patient flow management, billing and claims processing, clinical support, pharmacy and inventory management, infection control, housekeeping, records management and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Register patients, verify NRIC/CHAS/Healthier SG and insurance eligibility, manage the queue and appointment bookings
• Answer phone and online enquiries, manage walk-ins, explain waiting times and charges
• Open and close the clinic; keep the reception and waiting area presentable
• Process payments (cash, NETS, PayNow, card) and issue receipts and invoices
• Submit and track CHAS, MediSave/MediShield Life, Healthier SG and corporate/TPA claims
• Reconcile daily collections and prepare cash-up reports
• Take and record vital signs
• Chaperone patients during examinations and procedures
• Assist the doctor with ECG, nebulisation and minor procedures
• Label, log and dispatch specimens to the lab
  Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic system
• Comply with PDPA and clinic SOPs on patient confidentiality at all times
• Pre-pack, label and dispense medication under the doctor's supervision
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and reorder points; receive and check deliveries
• Maintain vaccine fridge temperature logs and cold chain records

About you

• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be computer savvy and comfortable learning different computer systems.
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work all shift timings.
• Must able to work in fast pace environment.
• Prior clinic or healthcare experience an advantage; training provided

Working Hours

• 36-40 hours per week, 10.5 hours must be over weekend
• Shift timings: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Shifts are assigned according to the roster
