Sales Executive (Construction Hardware)

Working Hours: Monday–Saturday / As per company schedule

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our growing Aluminium & Glass Hardware team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, managing existing accounts and promoting our range of aluminium doors, windows, glass systems, aluminium profiles, hardware, accessories, and related building products.

This is a sales-driven role with attractive commission opportunities, suitable for candidates who enjoy meeting customers, developing business and achieving sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

• Identify and approach potential customers, contractors, builders, renovators, developers and aluminium/glass companies.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.

• Promote and sell aluminium, glass and hardware products.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.

• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries and negotiate with customers.

• Conduct site visits and meet customers when required.

• Follow up closely on quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed sales.

• Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.

• Coordinate with the Operations, Technical and Installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Maintain accurate records of customers, quotations, sales activities and follow-ups.

• Provide good after-sales service and resolve customer enquiries professionally.

The candidate will be expected to develop knowledge of products including:

• Aluminium doors and windows

• Aluminium profiles

• Sliding & swing door systems

• Glass doors and panels

• Aluminium grilles

• Door & window hardware

• Handles, locks, hinges and accessories

• Shower screen hardware

• Aluminium & glass installation accessories

• Related architectural and building hardware

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the aluminium, glass, hardware, construction, renovation or building materials industry.

• Candidates with strong sales experience from related industries are welcome.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive attitude, self-motivated and target-oriented.

• Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.

• Able to work independently as well as with a team.

• Willing to conduct customer visits and site visits when required.

• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare quotations.

• Technical knowledge of aluminium/glass products will be an advantage.

• Singapore work experience is preferred.

• Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

The successful candidate is expected to:

Generate Leads → Meet Customers → Understand Requirements → Prepare Quotations → Follow Up → Close Sales → Build Relationships → Generate Repeat Business

Sales performance will be measured based on sales revenue, new customer acquisition, quotation conversion, customer retention and overall business development results.

REMUNERATION

Basic Salary: S$1,800 + Attractive Commission

Commission is performance-based and provides an opportunity for higher earnings for sales professionals who consistently achieve and exceed their targets.
