Purpose of the Role
Be the on-ground shift leader, ensuring smooth day-to-day floor operations and guiding the team to deliver warm, efficient and commercially aware hospitality. The Supervisor leads by example, supports Associates during service and ensures guest experience and operational standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Floor & Shift Operations
Lead floor operations during assigned shifts and ensure service standards are consistently executed.
Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate stations, sections and responsibilities according to operational needs.
Manage guest arrivals, seating, reservations and table flow to support a smooth guest journey.
Coordinate orders, food running, table maintenance and guest requests efficiently throughout service.
Monitor opening and closing duties, cleanliness, presentation and overall floor readiness.
Identify and resolve day-to-day service issues promptly, escalating more complex matters to the Assistant Manager or Manager when required.
Guest Experience & Sales
Welcome and engage guests warmly and create a positive and personalised experience.
Build strong product knowledge and confidently recommend food, beverages, retail products and experiences.
Drive upselling and cross-selling through genuine conversations and thoughtful recommendations.
Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally within the scope of the role.
Team Leadership & Development
Guide and support Associates during service, providing immediate and constructive feedback.
Lead by example in hospitality, teamwork, professionalism and service standards.
Support the onboarding and on-the-job training of new team members.
Encourage strong communication and teamwork across the floor.
Operational Communication
Communicate operational issues, product shortages, guest feedback and unfinished duties clearly to the management team.
Work closely with Bar, Retail, Kitchen and Experiences to ensure smooth coordination across the guest journey.
Support stock awareness and communicate replenishment or operational requirements where necessary.
Cross-Functional Support
Participate in cross-training and rotation between Floor, Bar, Retail and Experiences where operationally required.
Support events, workshops and experiences when required.
Contribute to overall outlet cleanliness, sales and guest experience beyond the immediate floor responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant hospitality, F&B, retail or guest experience.
Previous supervisory, leadership or shift-leading experience is preferred.
Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
Able to confidently lead a shift and coordinate team members in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable engaging guests and driving sales through recommendations and upselling.
Warm, reliable, proactive and passionate about hospitality.
Strong team player with a hands-on approach to operations.

Working Conditions
5-day work week on a rotating roster.
Weekend and public holiday work is required.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
May be required to support events, experiences and operational needs outside standard service periods.
