Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administrator - 12 months contract

The person in this role will part of a global team that is responsible for the ongoing remediation of security vulnerabilities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows servers in the company. This job is responsible for ongoing deployment of software patches to servers supporting all lines of business across the bank. The person will partner with engineering and technology teams to continually improve the velocity and success rates of patching. Key responsibilities include planning, scheduling and monitoring of patch deployment jobs, troubleshooting and resolving failures and a strong ability to communicate with internal partner technology teams regarding status.

• Experience in RHEL and/or Windows Server systems administration.

• Experience / knowledge in patch management

• Experience with BMC TrueSight Orchestration

• Experience with Tanium

• Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM

• Experience in enterprise-scale environments.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a global team.

• Experience in programming and infra-automation tools – Ansible, Python, etc.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language (i.e. Bash, Powershell, Python).

• Experience in financial services industry.
