URGENT: Quality Engineer (semicon/manufacturing)

We are looking for a Senior/Quality Engineer with strong expertise in GD&T, metrology, and dimensional quality to support manufacturing and supplier quality activities. You will lead dimensional inspections, resolve quality issues, drive process improvements, and ensure products meet customer and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into dimensional and manufacturing quality issues using structured problem-solving tools.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to support inspection, root cause analysis, and product qualification.
• Develop and maintain inspection methods, control plans, SOPs, and quality documentation.
• Perform dimensional analysis, MSA (GR&R), process validation, and metrology-related activities.
• Review non-conforming materials, customer complaints, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers to improve product quality.
• Support internal and supplier audits while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5/ISO GPS) and engineering drawing interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with metrology equipment, such as CMM, Vision Measurement Systems, Optical Comparator, Height Gauge, Micrometers, Calipers, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with MSA (GR&R), SPC, 8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949/TS16949 quality systems is an advantage.
• Experience with Minitab or statistical analysis tools is preferred.
