Project Engineer (BMS)

Job Summary

Our Project Engineer is expected to support project planning, coordination, and execution for Building Management System (BMS) installation projects, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while supervising subcontractors and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in planning projects, controlling budgets, and executing project tasks to meet objectives
• Coordinate with main contractors and other contractors to ensure smooth BMS installation work
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure work meets acceptable workmanship standards and project requirements
• Prepare detailed site progress reports and project documentation, including method statements
• Ensure timely project handover while maintaining high quality standards and cost-effectiveness
• Manage accessibility of installation drawings at points of use to support efficient work execution
• Review and determine appropriate actions for non-conformities detected in products or work
• Take responsibility for the successful completion of projects and achieving customer satisfaction

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant project management experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Strong communication, writing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to diverse construction sections
• Experience or exposure to Building Management Systems (BMS)
