Quality Inspector

Job Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and internal quality standards. The role supports quality documentation, abnormality containment activities, and continuous compliance with quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final outgoing inspections.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate measuring instruments such as Vernier callipers, micrometers, height gauges, and angular gauges.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Support non-conformance handling, containment activities, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality procedures, and company standards.
• Assist with inventory checks, audits, and other quality-related activities as required.
• Practice 5S principles and maintain good housekeeping standards within the work area.
• Maintain inspection equipment in good working condition and store tools appropriately after use.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/quality-related role preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand basic GD&T principles.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools is preferred.
• Good in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Able to work independently with a high level of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Willing to perform overtime and work on shifts when required.
• Able to work in the East Region (Changi North Crescent), Singapore.
