Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, crawler, or tower cranes according to approved lifting plans and safety procedures
• Perform daily pre-operational checks and basic maintenance of crane equipment
• Execute lifting operations in coordination with Lifting Supervisor, Rigger, and Signalman
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
• Follow load charts, rated capacities, and manufacturer’s operating instructions
• Stop operations immediately if unsafe conditions are identified
• Maintain accurate records for crane operations, inspections, and logbooks
• Report equipment defects, incidents, or near-misses promptly
• Support site operations as instructed by the Supervisor or Management

Safety & Compliance

• Strictly adhere to WSH Act, MOM regulations, and company safety policies
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions
• Use appropriate PPE at all times on site

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator License issued by MOM /Accredited Authority
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant crane operating experience (project-dependent)
• Familiar with construction site operations and lifting procedures
• Physically fit and medically certified for crane operation
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and at multiple project sites when required
• Team player with good safety awareness and discipline
• preferrable able to work on shift works when required
