WSH Officer

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and implement workplace safety and health practices at construction sites to ensure compliance with WSH regulations, company policies and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and Risk Assessments (RA) to identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
• Review and monitor Safe Work Procedures (SWP), method statements and permit-to-work requirements for high-risk construction activities.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, WSH training and safety campaigns to promote safety awareness and safe work practices among workers and contractors.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on WSH matters, while maintaining safety records, inspection reports, incident reports and other required documentation.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or relevant qualification in Workplace Safety and Health, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.
