Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator

Job Description & Requirements

1. Job Description

• Coordinate and oversee Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works on site to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and schedule.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant parties on all M&E-related matters to ensure smooth coordination and integration with other trades.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Monitor site progress of M&E works and ensure timely completion in accordancewith project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, proper installation, and compliance with standards and
• regulations.
• Identify and resolve coordination issues, including clashes between M&E and other disciplines.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of M&E documentation, reports, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Manage and coordinate M&E materials, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient site operations.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned.

2. Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A team-oriented attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
