Position Overview

The Senior Executive, Sales Support plays a key role in driving commercial operations by managing tender submissions, rate coordination, and client onboarding. This individual acts as a primary liaison between the sales team, external vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless operational execution and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tender & Bid Management: Prepare quotations, proposals, customer presentations, and formal RFQ/RFP submissions. Track quotation validity and follow up on active sales leads.

  • Vendor & Rate Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and subcontractors to gather rates, service details, and commercial intelligence.

  • Client Onboarding & Account Management: Support account setup and post-win transitions for new clients. Resolve service enquiries and manage follow-up action items from client meetings.

  • Reporting & Pipeline Analysis: Consolidate weekly sales pipeline updates, track monthly performance metrics, and maintain historical records of tender outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Operations, Customer Service, and Finance teams to ensure alignment with company governance policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: More than 2 years of commercial support, sales support, or customer service experience within the freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics sectors.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong familiarity with freight forwarding operations, tender management, and commercial documentation processes.

  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with demonstrated capability in data analysis and commercial reporting.

  • Core Competencies: Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills paired with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
