We are seeking a Fleet Operations Control Specialist to oversee real-time monitoring and compliance of autonomous vehicle operations. The role involves detecting anomalies, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining precise incident logs while coordinating communication across operators, customer support, and emergency services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Real-Time Monitoring & Compliance
  • Continuously track live sensor data and camera feeds via the IoT Portal and Fleet Management System to ensure vehicles remain within safety limits.

    Promptly identify and report issues to enforce safety rules.

  • Incident Detection & Data Management
  • Act as the designated recorder during incidents, maintaining detailed logs with accurate timestamps of all actions by the vehicle, Safety Operator, and OCC.

    Secure and archive video footage (CCTV/Dashcam) and black-box data to preserve evidence for regulatory reporting.

  • Incident Response & Communication
  • Execute incident SOPs, serving as the central communication point between safety teams, operators, field staff, and emergency services when required.

    Manage alerts by filtering false positives and escalating verified issues (collisions, emergency button activations) to the Incident Controller.

    Assist in preparing factual updates for external stakeholders such as LTA or Traffic Police.

  • Improvement & Reporting
  • Review shift logs to identify recurring near-miss locations or frequent intervention points, and compile reports highlighting safety trends.

    Plan and participate in simulation exercises and table-top drills for scenarios such as vehicle fires, network outages, or passenger emergencies.

    Provide feedback on incident response checklists and recommend refinements to reduce detection and resolution times.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • At least 6 months of relevant work experience
  • Background in command center operations (bus, rail, or emergency dispatch).
  • Proficiency with fleet management software, complex dashboards, and CCTV monitoring systems.
  • Ability to detect subtle irregularities in video feeds or data streams.
  • Remain calm and methodical under pressure, prioritizing accuracy over speed when recording incidents.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Road Traffic Rules and AV regulations (TR68).
