Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Operations Manager

to lead our

Warehouse and Logistics

team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth, cost-effective distribution and inventory operations that directly impact our customer satisfaction and bottom line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, inventory management, and team leadership, with a keen focus on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Management

o Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch.

o Ensure proper stock handling, labeling, and organization to maintain inventory accuracy.

o Monitor warehouse performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Logistics & Distribution

o Plan, schedule, and optimize delivery routes and trips to ensure timely distribution with cost efficiency.

o Supervise the logistics team and third-party transport providers to meet delivery KPIs.

o Resolve transportation issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Inventory Control

o Maintain accurate stock levels and implement procedures to prevent stock-outs.

o Monitor and manage inventory aging to reduce and prevent stock obsolescence.

o Coordinate regular stock counts and reconciliations.

Team Leadership & Development

o Lead, train, and mentor warehouse and logistics staff to ensure high performance and accountability.

o Foster a safety-first culture and uphold operational standards and protocols.

Reporting & Analysis

o Track and report key operational metrics including delivery trip efficiency, cost per delivery, stock-out frequency, and inventory aging.

o Provide actionable insights to senior management for operational planning and improvements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Number of trips delivered per period with adherence to cost benchmarks

· Zero or minimal stock-outs across all product categories

· Reduction and control of inventory obsolescence

· On-time delivery rate

· Warehouse accuracy and productivity metrics

· Inventory turnover ratio

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

· 5+ years of experience in warehouse and logistics management.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar ERP).

· Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

· Experience implementing cost-saving initiatives in logistics or warehousing.

· Familiarity with lean warehousing practices and process optimization.

· Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, APICS) is a plus.
