A leading MultinationalCorporation (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan is establishing a new factory inSingapore. We are seeking an experienced Logistics Executive who will beresponsible for coordinating and managing the company’s logistics, warehousing,inventory movement, and shipment activities to ensure timely delivery of goodsand smooth supply chain operations for both office and factory activities.
Job DescriptionsLogistics & Shipment Coordination
- Assist in the registration and setup of customs-related accounts, permits, or handbooks required for the new factory setup in Singapore.
- Coordinate local and overseas shipments, including import and export activities.
- Arrange transportation, delivery schedules, and shipment bookings with forwarders and courier companies.
- Prepare and process shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, delivery orders, permits, and customs documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and transport providers regarding shipment schedules and delivery status.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve delivery or transportation issues promptly.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, setup/startup environment and assist in establishing local logistics workflows.
- Serve as a liaison between Taiwan Headquarters (HQ) and Singapore local teams/vendors to ensure seamless operational alignment.
Factory & Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with production and manufacturing teams to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods, especially for urgent shipping requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements during goods handling and transportation.
Documentation & System Management
- Maintain accurate logistics and shipment records.
- Update ERP/system transactions related to inventory and shipments.
- Ensure all logistics documentation is properly filed and maintained.
- Prepare periodic logistics and inventory reports for management review.
Compliance & Cost Control
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.
- Assist in monitoring logistics expenses and maintaining clear records for management review.
- Coordinate insurance claims or shipment discrepancy investigations when necessary.
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
- Familiarity with import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in manufacturing or factory environment.
- Knowledge of customs procedures and freight forwarding coordination.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP software.
Ability to coordinate with both local andoverseas stakeholders
