Sales Engineer / Automation Sale

Our client is a Singapore-based company specializing in industrial automation products and solutions, serving customers across the manufacturing and industrial sectors in a global scale.

The company works closely with system integrators, consultants, and end-users to understand customer requirements and provide suitable automation solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer accounts to achieve agreed sales targets within assigned market segments and channels.
• Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts and follow up promptly on customer enquiries, requests, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with system integrators, consultants, end-users, and other relevant business partners.
• Promote and provide appropriate industrial automation products and solutions based on customers’ operational and technical requirements.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, visits, and follow-ups to understand business needs and provide effective account support.
• Assess customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to recommend suitable automation products and solutions.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to support customer decision-making and business development.
• Prepare customized proposals, solution recommendations, and quotations in accordance with customer requirements and company guidelines.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities, including seminars, exhibitions, customer events, and product training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant automation products, technologies, and market developments through ongoing learning and training.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, engineering, industrial automation, or a related field is an advantage; candidates with limited experience may also be considered based on their qualifications and suitability for the role.
• Interest in industrial automation, factory automation, control systems, or related technologies.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and willing to learn through product, technical, and solution-related training.
