HAIR SALON MANAGER

Responsibilities

1) Provides full hair service including hair cutting shampooing, blow drying , colouring

2) Recommend suitable treatment and products to customer

3) Performing scalp treatment

4) Building a good reputation with client to ensure return visit

5) Willingness to learn and grow with company

6) Attending formal in house training session

7) Maintain cleanliness of hair saloon, work station and equipment

8) Manage shop outlet daily operation.

9) Training for other hair stylist worker

10) A hair salon manager is also responsible to discipline and maintain the employees’ efficiency to their work.

11) It is a duty of a hair salon manager to be updated to the current and new trends that can help to satisfy a customer’s needs.

12) It is also a duty of a hair salon manager to always check if the salon is clean and maintained. Equipments that are used in hairdressing should also be checked and maintained in order to ensure the safety of the customer.

Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

- good hair cutting skills

- good communication and customer service skill

- ability to multitask between different task at hand while working under pressure during busy period

- To become a hair salon manager, always remember that education is not the basis but experience.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
