FULL TIME COOK

Position: Full-Time Cook

Location: Central, Singapore

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 44 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays where required

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our café team.

You will be responsible for preparing food consistently to our recipes and standards, while maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and presentation standards.

* Handle food preparation, cooking and plating during service.

* Ensure food quality, consistency and portion control.

* Assist with daily kitchen preparation and mise en place.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.

* Monitor food supplies and inform the supervisor of stock requirements.

* Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.

* Assist with receiving and proper storage of ingredients.

* Minimise food wastage and maintain good kitchen practices.

* Work closely with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS

* Previous experience as a Cook in a café, restaurant or similar food establishment preferred.

* Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.

* Able to follow recipes and maintain consistency.

* Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

* Reliable, punctual and responsible.

* Positive attitude and good teamwork.

* Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

* Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
