PHYSIOTHERAPIST (PART-TIME) – SPORTS & MSK FOCUS

Movement & Sports Medicine Centre (MSMC) is expanding its services and seeking a Part-Time Physiotherapist with a strong interest in sports, musculoskeletal care, movement and exercise-based rehabilitation.

Established in 2019, MSMC is an assessment-led sports medicine fitness centre supporting active adults, working professionals and individuals seeking to improve their strength, mobility, physical function and confidence in movement.

This position offers the opportunity to help shape and grow MSMC’s physiotherapy service within an established sports and exercise environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop a growing caseload and take on greater responsibilities as the service expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage clients presenting with sports-related and musculoskeletal conditions

• Develop individualised physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans

• Deliver evidence-informed treatment, education and progressive exercise rehabilitation

• Monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment plans appropriately

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, consent and professional standards

• Collaborate with MSMC’s trainers and coaches to support a coordinated transition from physiotherapy to ongoing exercise

• Contribute to the development of physiotherapy protocols, client pathways and educational initiatives

What We Are Looking For:

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy

• Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council and a valid Practising Certificate

• Genuine interest in sports, musculoskeletal care and exercise rehabilitation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Positive, proactive and willing to learn

• A dependable team player who takes professional responsibility seriously

• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Early-career physiotherapists who hold full AHPC registration are encouraged to apply. Experienced physiotherapists looking for an opportunity to help grow and potentially lead a developing service are equally welcome.
