Attractive Job Opening for EUS Engineer in Singapore
About this job
EUS Engineer
A blockchain-based network that reimagines the future of payments. We leverage
distributed ledger technology (DLT) to enable seamless, real-time atomic settlement of
cross-border transactions, significantly enhancing efficiency, security, and transparency for our
banking partners. Born from a joint initiative by DBS, J.P. Morgan, and Temasek is at the
forefront of transforming the financial services landscape.
This role requires technical proficiency in the previously outlined areas and also the ability to clearly communicate with both technical and non-technical users, I'd like to ask to be more stringent in these areas
About the role
- We're looking for an experienced End User Support Engineer to own the day-to-day technology
- experience of our employees. This is a hands-on role covering a predominantly macOS fleet
- managed through Jamf, Google Workspace administration, and the physical infrastructure
- people rely on every day, meeting rooms, printers, and Wi-Fi.
- You'll be the person employees come to when something isn't working, and the person who
- makes sure it doesn't break again. This role suits someone who works independently,
- diagnoses problems from first principles rather than escalating them, and takes pride in a fleet
- that's well-documented, well-patched, and well-inventoried.
What you'll do
macOS fleet & endpoint management
● Provide end-to-end support for MacBooks across the full device lifecycle, procurement,
enrollment, deployment, refresh, and decommissioning.
● Administer Jamf Pro build and maintain policies, configuration profiles, smart/static
groups, extension attributes, and self-service workflows.
● Own zero-touch provisioning via Automated Device Enrollment (ADE/DEP) and Apple
Business Manager.
● Manage OS and third-party application patching, FileVault enforcement and key escrow,
and compliance baselines.
● Package and deploy software; write and maintain scripts (shell/zsh, Python) to automate
repetitive support tasks.
● Maintain accurate IT asset management records in Jamf and the asset register ,
inventory reconciliation, warranty and AppleCare tracking, repairs, RMAs, and stockroom
levels.
Google Workspace administration
● Administer Google Workspace at the enterprise tier, users, groups, organizational units,
roles, and delegated admin.
● Manage Gmail routing and delegation, shared drives and Drive sharing policies,
Calendar and room resources, and Google Groups.
● Enforce security controls, 2-step verification, context-aware access, app access controls,
and endpoint verification.
● Manage Chrome Browser and ChromeOS policies where applicable; support audit and
eDiscovery requests via Vault.
Meeting rooms, printers & workplace infrastructure
● Support and maintain video conferencing devices and meeting rooms — [Google Meet
hardware / Zoom Rooms], codecs, cameras, mics, displays, touch controllers, and room
booking panels.
● Troubleshoot AV faults end to end, cabling and HDMI/USB-C signal paths, firmware,
device enrollment, room resource configuration, and audio quality issues.
● Provide AV support for all-hands, town halls, and executive meetings, including
pre-event checks and live support.
● Administer network printers and print infrastructure, queues, drivers, secure/follow-me
printing, scan-to-email, consumables, and vendor coordination.
● Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and connectivity issues at the client and access-layer level: 802.1X
/ WPA2-Enterprise authentication, certificate profiles, RADIUS, DHCP/DNS, roaming and
coverage problems, VPN clients, and captive portals. Partner with the network team on
RF and infrastructure escalations.
Service delivery & operations
● Own an incident and request queue, meeting agreed SLAs on response and resolution
while keeping communication clear and proactive.
● Run employee onboarding and offboarding: device build and handover, account
provisioning, access grants, and clean revocation and asset recovery on exit.
● Provide white-glove support to executives and senior stakeholders.
● Diagnose root cause on recurring issues and drive permanent fixes rather than repeat
workarounds.
● Write and maintain knowledge base articles, runbooks, and self-service documentation
for employees and the wider IT team.
● Identify gaps in tooling and process, and propose and implement improvements
independently.
● Provide occasional after-hours or weekend support for events, migrations, and
maintenance windows.
What you'll bring
Required
● 5–10 years of experience in end user support, IT support engineering, desktop support,
or corporate/workplace IT.
● Deep, hands-on macOS expertise, troubleshooting at the OS level, command line
comfort, log analysis, keychain, permissions and TCC, and common failure modes.
● Demonstrated production experience with Jamf Pro for policy delivery, configuration
management, and asset management. You've built policies from scratch, not just clicked
through an existing setup.
● Strong administration experience with Google Workspace in an enterprise environment.
● Practical working knowledge of network printers, enterprise Wi-Fi, and video
conferencing / meeting room hardware.
● Solid networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, 802.1X, and structured
troubleshooting across the stack.
● Scripting ability for automation and Jamf policy work (shell/zsh, Python, or similar).
● Experience with an ITSM/ticketing platform (Jira Service Management, Freshservice,
ServiceNow, or equivalent).
● Proven ability to work independently, owning problems from report to resolution with
minimal supervision, and making sound judgement calls on when to escalate.
● Excellent troubleshooting instincts: isolating variables, reproducing issues, and
reasoning from evidence rather than guesswork.
● Clear written and verbal communication, with the patience to explain technical issues to
non-technical colleagues.
Nice to have
● Jamf certification (Jamf 100/200/300) or Apple Certified Support Professional.
● Identity and SSO experience, Okta, Google as IdP, SAML, SCIM provisioning.
● Windows endpoint and Intune exposure for mixed-fleet environments.
● Familiarity with endpoint security tooling (EDR, MDM compliance reporting, device trust).
● Experience with Slack, Zoom, or Atlassian administration.
● Experience supporting a fast-growing or multi-site organization.
