About this job
- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform dimensional inspection of machined components
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to verify product conformance
- Conduct incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges and dial indicators
- Create and maintain CMM inspection programs using Calypso software
- Optimise measurement routines to improve inspection efficiency and accuracy
- Perform production failure analysis and investigate dimensional non-conformities
- Work with production team to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality
- Monitor quality trends and support process capability improvement
- Perform calibration and verification of measuring instruments
- Maintain inspection reports, quality documentation and traceability records
- Prepare Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) reports
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing quality and process stability
