Specialist Commissioning Engineer - short term

Job Summary

Support the commissioning phase of a project by applying expertise in Allen Bradley PLC software and Rockwell Software to complete cause-and-effect demonstrations. Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics knowledge to ensure successful commissioning on FPSO, FSO, and FLNG vessels.

Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in Allen Bradley PLC software to force signals and complete cause-and-effect logic for commissioning demonstrations
• Use Rockwell Software Studio 5000 Rev 36 or above and FactoryTalk ME Rev 15 or above to configure and test control systems
• Execute commissioning tasks on FPSO, FSO, and FLNG vessels, ensuring system functionality and compliance with client requirements
• Leverage mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues
• Collaborate with project teams to finalize commissioning activities within a short-term 1-month assignment
• Adapt and prepare for potential long-term commissioning roles within Singapore based on performance and project needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Proven experience with Allen Bradley PLC software and Rockwell Software Studio 5000 Rev 36 or above and FactoryTalk ME Rev 15 or above
• Commissioning experience on FPSO, FSO, and FLNG vessels
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics background

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of own relevant software tools for commissioning tasks
