Math and Science Teacher (IB/A level/IGCSE)

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IB/A-level/IGCSE Mathematics or Science (AA and AI, SL and HL levels) to students in international schools
• Develop and update engaging lesson materials aligned with the respective syllabus
• Guide students in preparing for exams and completing IB Internal Assessments (IA)
• Participate in academic planning and teaching team discussions
• Provide content input to math-related posts, study tips, or highlights of student achievements
• Attend teacher meetings and contribute to teaching quality improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related field
• Strong command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is ideal
• Candidates must be capable of teaching at least one (or a combination) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS).
• Prior experience teaching international curriculum is preferred
• IB Diploma or International A level graduates with a strong background are highly encouraged to apply
• Responsible, patient, and able to communicate effectively with students
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
• Experience in preparing students for university admissions, personal statements, or scholarship applications.
