Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on engineer to join our semiconductor equipment installation team.
The successful candidate will initially work alongside experienced engineers, assisting with the installation, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of semiconductor robots and VSP systems. Through on-the-job training and hands-on experience, the candidate will gradually develop the technical knowledge and skills required to perform installations and service work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with the installation and setup of semiconductor robots and VSP systems at customer sites.
- Support mechanical and electrical installation, equipment setup, alignment, and testing.
- Assist with robot teaching, calibration, parameter setting, and functional checks.
- Follow installation procedures, safety requirements, and customer site regulations.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment-related issues.
- Prepare tools, equipment, and materials required for installation and service activities.
- Maintain proper documentation, installation records, and service reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel.
- Travel to customer sites as required for installation and service work.
- Learn and develop technical skills through hands-on training and guidance from experienced engineers.
- Progressively take on greater responsibility with the goal of independently performing installation and service activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field preferred.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with limited experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on and practical approach to problem solving.
- Willingness to learn semiconductor equipment and automation technology.
- Able to work at customer sites and in cleanroom environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
- Willing to travel locally and overseas when required.
Training & Career Development
The position is designed as a hands-on learning and development role. The successful candidate will initially assist experienced engineers and gradually learn the complete installation and service process. As technical competency and experience develop, the candidate will be given increasing responsibility and will ultimately be expected to independently perform semiconductor robot and VSP installation, setup, troubleshooting, and service work.
