Administrative/ Social Work Assistant [FAM(TRANS Family Services)]

TRANS Family Services is a non-profit organization providing social services since 1979.We have 6 centres across Singapore proving services supporting families in need. As we expand our services, we are looking for positive and like-minded individuals to join our team.

About The Role

• Assist in the administrative and operational needs of the agency
• Provide front-line customer/reception service
• Manage walk-in service enquirers and phone queries
• Coordinate scheduling of service users for programmes
• Provide admin and logistical support for programmes, events and activities
• Maintain records and assist in submission of reports
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Candidate Requirements

A. Technical Competencies:

• ‘O’ / ‘A’ Levels or Polytechnic Diploma
• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
• IT literacy
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player

B. Core Competencies:

• Ability in managing client enquiries regarding programmes and services
• Ability in navigating databases or information systems
• Ability in office administration

C. Preferred achievements / characteristics:

• Diligence, integrity and resilience under pressure
• Passion for working in the social services
• Openness to learning on the job and manage challenges as it comes
