Senior Research Engineer I, Embodied AI & Robotics, IAIC

We invite applications for a research engineer position with passion to conduct R&D, assisting researchers to develop solution and perform system integration and testing in Embodied AI and Robotics with focus on Embodied AI and Robotic Foundation Model development, adaptation, evaluation and deployment.

The successful candidate(s) job scope would include research and development of the algorithm(s) including Robotics Foundation Model or Reinforcement Learning to enable the robots to perform multiple tasks robustly and safely in the real world, conduct testing of the developed models in simulation, transfer to a physical robotic system and integrating the robotic system into a system solution, performing site testing and technology transfer.

The candidate should have Bachelor or Masters in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields, with knowledge and at least 2 years of project experience in Embodied AI, Robotics Foundation Model or Reinforcement Learning and Robotics areas.

Other requirements include:

• Strong software development skills in C/C++, Python, PyTorch;
• Good knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System)
