Resident Technical Officer (RTO) - Architectural

We are looking for an experienced Resident Technical Officer (Architectural) to oversee and supervise architectural works on a large-scale infrastructure project. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements, while coordinating closely with consultants, contractors, and relevant stakeholders on all architectural and site matters throughout the construction phase until CWW is obtained.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect architectural works on site for an MRT project, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and details as required under the project and mandated under the LTA regulations
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with architectural consultants, design team and project stakeholders on design and site-related matters
- Review all architectural drawings and prepare Requests for Information (RFI) for discrepancies
- Monitor workmanship, materials, and construction quality, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Inspect and follow up on Inspection Requests, material submissions, shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups
- Oversee the materials and finishes deployed
- Monitor and follow up on defects, non-conforming works, and rectification works
- Monitor architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, civil, railway systems, and other specialist works
- Provide daily/weekly updates on Contractor work progress, completed works, ongoing activities, site observations, and outstanding issues
- Attend site and progress meetings and provide updates on architectural works and outstanding matters
- Assist in monitoring testing, completion, defects, and handover of architectural works
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant architectural experience
- Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience on projects of similar scale and complexity; experience in MRT, rail, infrastructure, or major building projects in Singapore is preferred
- Certified Resident Technical Officer (IES/ACES)
- Possess a working knowledge of architectural construction, materials, finishes, and site coordination
- Familiarity with LTArequirements, specifications, submissions, inspections, and constructiondocumentation is a strong advantage
- Possess a strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Willingness to work 5.5 Days or alternate 6 Days, 8am-6pm
