Job Summary

Support teachers in delivering early childhood education by assisting with classroom management, providing engaging activities, fostering a safe and respectful environment, and building positive relationships with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering educational and care activities, including songs, games, and storytelling, to engage children and promote learning
• Maintain a safe and secure classroom environment where children feel comfortable and supported
• Support classroom management by organizing resources, caring for equipment, and keeping the classroom tidy and accessible
• Foster mutual respect and tolerance by valuing each child’s social, cultural, and religious backgrounds through daily interactions
• Encourage children to take pride in their environment and show respect and concern for others to build a caring community
• Maintain professional and confidential communication with colleagues about children and school matters
• Build positive relationships with parents to support children’s development and wellbeing
• Follow assigned work shift patterns and adhere to the school’s policies and guidelines

Requirements

• Possess a Fundamental Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and children
• Show passion for educating young children and commitment to their growth
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
