Network Engineer

KeyResponsibilities:

• Configure, and deploy LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and other network components.
• Install and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure network availability and reliability.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
• Document network in frastructure, configurations, and procedures.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Network certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA are preferred.
